David-Arwed Eschrich was born on March 17th, 1971 in Oldenburg / Lower Saxony. born. In 1998 he completed his master's degree in political science, history and psychology.
He then worked as a management consultant in the new federal states, particularly in promoting business start-ups and developing regional structures in the tourism sector. In the following two years he worked for the sponsoring company of the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in the field of labor market policy. David Eschrich has lived in Hamburg since mid-2002, where he runs an insurance agency, among other things.
In addition to his professional interests, David-A. Eschrich artistic and cultural activities - especially in Hamburg, but also beyond. His projects include the 7th International Tango Festival 2004 in Hamburg, Tangos and Boleros im Forum Alstertal, Icon presentation by Mado Kucharska, a reading with Gerd Spiekermann, a handicraft Christmas market or the baroque Advent market in Ludwigslust.
The editorship of the series Other countries and cultures, among other titles, is another step.
David Eschrich has been a member of the board of directors of François Maher Presley Foundation for Art and Culture.

David-Arwed Eschrich was born at 3-17-1971 in Oldenburg/Niedersachsen. In 1998 he finished studying politics, history and psychology with Master`s degree.
Afterwards he was working as management consultant in the new (definition after the fall of the wall) federal states of Germany – in this area he especially was consulting by helping in cases of start up situations for companies and also in development of structures in tourism business. In the following 2 years of this period he continued this work for a holding company of the federal state Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in cases of politics for labour market. Since the middle of the year 2002 David Eschrich is living in Hamburg, where he meanwhile is proceeding with an insurance agency inter alia.
His secondary aims are patronizing activities in art and culture – especially in Hamburg, but also at more places. The projects he supported like that have been the 7th international festival of tangos and boleros at the Forum Alstertal, a presentation of icons from Mado Kucharska, a lecture with Gerd Spiekermann, a Christmas market with art crafts, also like a baroque advent market in Ludwigslust. Some more engagement here is his position as editor for the series “Andere Länder und Kulturen” (trsl.: different countrys and cultures) among other titles.
Since the 01.01.2018 he is board member of the François Maher Presley Stiftung für Kunst und Kultur.
