Forum Alstertal flags Pop Art - works by Ronaldo Hopf
Two and a half hours, 64 helpers, 2,500 visitors: everyone was directly or indirectly involved in the history of Pop Art in the Forum Alstertal, staged as action art by François Maher Presley. This original staging also included criticism of the audience, the rich, beautiful and important who turned the mass art of Pop Art into museum art for the wealthy, criticism of fashion art, art as an economic asset and the mendacity of all those involved.

François Maher Presley and the Forum Alstertal present traditional and modern art and culture from West Africa. Part of the proceeds from this sales exhibition will go to the non-profit association Akwaaba
(Welcome) who is collecting donations for a school project in a Ghanaian province.

In addition, photographic works are exhibited that give an insight into people's lives, like still lifes, showing colonial buildings, wooden huts and groups of people.

The live band plays gamelan music during the entrance. The guests are greeted with a customary drink. Then it soundsgong. Dyah Narang-Huth recites a poem and is accompanied by gamelan. After the welcome by François Maher Presley, the Consul General of Indonesia, His Excellency, Mr. Idaa Bagus Putu Djendra, spoke a few words.
